Samoan Language Week

This morning  was the beginning of Samoan Language week we started off with a samoan assembly . First of all our junior samoans from samoan preschool   started off with a little samoan song

Then we did the Samoan National Anthem  .Our senior Samoans  performed a siva  then our older samoans from tamaki college sang us are beautiful samoan  song. That was our samoan Assembly for the term

Catapult Battle

Yesterday was the war of our nation. Every war member lined up ready for the captain to say fire. Once we fired, people from our team were dying like nobody's business.
Our captain shouted “Try harder!” The killing continued into the night.

Hot Air Ballon

The hot air balloon flies because  the heat from the gas tank rises up so it can  go and flying

When they had their fun and they need it to go down  the parachute  at the top makes it cold then they pull the rope so it goes flying.

Angry Birds

Angry birds is a game that teaches us about  potential energy and kinetic energy and lot of forces.

When we pull the rubber band back stored potential energy after the potential energy stored. we release rubber band  making kinetic energy. the bird goes flying.

The angry birds game is a great game because it teaches us about  Newtons  Laws.

Today we had our first All Stars Warriors Session with Mrs Nua.

We had to write 3 super sentences  so that she could see how fabulous we are at writing.

Yesterday was the 5th of may the first day of term 2 this term we have been learning about all. Sorts like learning new games and other things today was the beginning of the session all stars.
